 Glasses make people ugly.

No, if you wear glasses it will not make you ugly. In fact, some people look quite beautiful with glasses.

But vision correction makes everyone else around you uglier.

If you have bad eyesight, try this experiment. Go to your local mall food court or other public place. Check out the members of the opposite sex (or whatever group of people gets your motor running) and get an idea of the attractiveness of the people you see.

A week later, return to the food court, but this time without your glasses/contact lenses/monocle. Compare. You will no longer be able to see all those pesky imperfections like wrinkles, small moles or female facial hair. Everyone (even members of the same sex) will be more pleasant to look at.

And unlike with beer-goggles, you can simply put your glasses back on and drive home safely.

I have 20/10 vision. And yes, it does make just about everyone else look like crap.

Simply wear someone else's glasses! Try to find a pair that doesn't give you a headache and doesn't make you bump into stationary objects.

Seeing remote objects without a telescope? I do wish my hearing was a bit better, though.

My hearing isn't that great, either. Maybe it's nature's way of evening out the odds.

My vision is about 20/0, which makes everybody very two dimensional.
