 I'm sick. Fuck Off.

Well, bad beef and lack of sleep won out yesterday, and I'm officially too sick to go to work today. Of course, since I'm not at work, I'm not going to spend that much time in front of the computer. So this is all you're going to get out of me today...

For all the things I said I was going to get written today, I'll probably write them, but I won't be submitting them 'till tomorrow...

I think last night was a changing point for me. I've gotten sick because of bad beef (or too much beef) too many times now. I'm having a harder time losing weight that I origionally planned, mainly because my calorie intake is just obscenly high (a direct result of eating so much meat.)

So now, I'm going to be one of those damn vegitarian types. I'm sure this will be great fuel for the fires of the anti-EAngst flamers out there.

Not too much else to say. I just woke up, and the interesting parts of the weekend will be written about tomorrow. That's it. Now feed my ego with comments that I will be able to read later...

You are well on the way to recovery. (none / 0) (#1)

Most overweight Americans refuse to accept that they may have a problem, but you appear to have made the important connection that so many of your countrymen seem to have missed:

I'm having a harder time losing weight that I originaly planned, mainly because my calorie intake is just obscenly high

That is a step in the right direction. The other step in the right direction is exercise. Basically, you reduce the amount of calories by burning them off. But it usually takes more self-discipline than most of us have. I am currently several kilos above my ideal weight, and have taken up running, but it is a long haul.

Good luck

Have you tried throwing away beef that has gone bad? Was it cooked properly? I had to give up anything less than "medium": I used to love medium rare steak, but it did not love me. Now I almost always order medium well cooked meat.

I am not who you think I am.
