Is there a reason you didn't just buy a Honda? (none / 0) (#1)

Volkswagens are terrible cars.

Are you living in the 80s? (none / 0) (#2)

Have you driven a late-model Honda? They're poop. Nowhere near the quality of the cars that established their reputation. Volkswagen, on the other hand, is enjoying a wee renaissance of sorts (thanks to Audi, perhaps).

Next you'll be trying to tell us there aren't any decent American cars on the market.

have bad VW memories from the 80s, my pops included. He didn't want me to get one because he had terrible problems with his Cirocco and Rabbit, but once he drove my Golf, he decided to trade in his Japanese car for a VW.
