Kuro5hin article.

What I want to know is this -- did the guy just finish reading Castaneda and simply acted under the impression, or is this some strange "social-engineering" game he is leading?

I opt for the second; I think he's simply testing the kuro5hin readership for literacy, in a very roundabout way.

What do you think?

You have to be pretty cool to have a nick like "streetliar". Or else you could be a wannabe... One of the two.

I can't stand reading K5, so I'll just take your word for it and assume that the author is pretty cool.

I never said that the person is "cool", whoever he is.

I merely enjoyed the situation his article provided.

I meant that I shall have to take your word for it that he was most likely testing them and from that infer that he was a generally cool person.

HTH.

In short, don't do it."

...I merely mentioned the neat post-modernist literary aspect of it.

don't stop on my account. I am merely amusing myself on a rainy Sunday afternoon (which is just another sort of onanism).

that you can amuse yourself while committing onanism with tkatchev.

Please discourse at greater length on this subject. We are all fabulously interested.

nothing? (none / 0) (#13)

That was a little bit subtle. The truth is we are NOT fabulously interested and would not have complained if you had stopped informing us much earlier in the thread.

To be precise, molluscs generally have more interesting sex than you and tkatchev.

Step one: reduce everything in the world to the "universal basis".

Step two: complain that life if boring.

Well duh.
