This could just be reason enough to expatriate elsewhere. (Truth be known, I'm almost at the point where any excuse would do sometimes...)

Thank you for this information.
To think I almost got caught out in the cold on this one.
It's nice to see that soon all those non-patriotic types will be rounded up in due course thanks to the Technology of the Internet.

Thanks again

Might as well face facts -- you are an intellectual. That just about says enough and all that needs to be said.

I propose the path of growth for you is to seek to overcome this worldview of the intellectual.

Consider the words of Lao Tse of the Tao Te Ching: Those who know, do not speak, Those who speak, do not know.

That is to consider the way of the Tao. As an intellectual, considering is a very pleasurable thing.

Don't assume the whining you heard was anything other than your own envy giving itself involuntary voice - or maybe your dogs need walking. In any case - welcome back !

Well, I thoroughly examimed all the information located at www.whitehouse.com/Initiatives/patriot/index.asp, and I'm sorry, but I'm strongly in favor of the whole thing. Call me a nazi if you like, I don't see anything wrong with any of it.

I think that was just an editorial staffer's idea of retaliation, as if I didn't already know that paybacks can be a bitch sometimes.

Foiled again, you sad, bitter, lonely little man -- ha!
