 Declaration of War Against Adequacy

 Comments:

There comes a time when one must grow out of the sweater they once wore, and that time is NOW! After posting what is clearly the most contraversial request on Adequacy, the editors immediately called upon hackers to vote for the current mascot, thereby making it seem like the populace of Adequacy did not want a new mascot. Votes are usually kept from corruption by allowing only one vote per Internet address found by the IP token. Since hackers have illegal modems without IP tokens, they were able to illegally vote more than once, thereby giving the current mascot an unfair advantage. Not only that, but they haven't posted my articles yet. :(

That is why I must depose of the monopoly that is Adequacy as Microsoft deposed the monopoly that was UNIX. I will make sure that Jennifer's 2,179 votes count (rough estimate), even if that means I must protest the once the once loved site by refusing to double check my posts. This is WAR.

That is the stupidest thing I have heard all day (5.00 / 1) (#1)

Adequacy.org runs on highly proprietary software and thus is immune to hacking attempts.

I don't know why you waste time making this crap up. Clearly no one agrees with your ridiculous ideas for a new mascot. Deal with it...

How 'contraversial'.

"controversial," not "contraversial."

Didn't stop to consider why quote marks might have been used?

I think back to all the wonderful days we've spent together on the the adequacy, Messiah. We really have something special. Had. We really had something special.

However, dear Messiah, I can not let my personal feelings prevent me from doing what's best for the adequacy. Whatever we may have shared is meaningless. You can not battle us, although you may try. You will be captured, and our interrogator will get a full confession from you. Who would have thought that all this time, you were a member of NAWL's underground resistance movement?

May her beauty be a shining beacon, and guide us through this dark time.

I'm sorry, but anyone who goes out in public looking like this does not in any way deserve to be the Adequacy mascot.

The fact that she's a mediocre actress whose only real (?) asset is her varsity rack doesn't help either. I'm with the editors on this one, dear.
