I didn't realize who I was responding to when I wrote my response. Not that it would have changed anything. I might have bowed and scraped a little more. Maybe soiled myself. Not likely.

Is it still a troll when you really believe what you say?

This site is an experiment to see how many people would fall for it. A joke. I fell for it. I will now shave my body and hang my head in shame for all to see.

What convinced me? Here.

A bunch of posts by Anonymous readers, and one guy who's not an editor? What are you talking about? Sure, those are some wierd ideas, but I'm sure everything on this site is completely serious.

No way. (1.00 / 1) (#4)

If that were the only example, I'd be inclined to write it off as a fluke, a tangent that took a silly, stereotypical point of view and made fun of it.

But it isn't the only example. Everywhere I look, I see posts of people who seem to be in dead earnest spouting bigoted, Archie Bunker-style opinions that make me shudder. It has to be a spoof. It has to be. The world is not this insane.

If you should come across a comment that looks as though it may be a troll, feel free to inform a site admin.

We do not support trolling in any form, and all trolls will be deleted.

Trolling ruined certain other websites, such as slashdot and kuro5hin; we will not allow trolls to spread their evil, putrid filth and propaganda here.

What do you define as a troll? I've seen evidence of your troll-hunting, but this place seems to breed nothing but.

I was just about to ask the same question...

I was off looking for a FAQ or somthing to tell me what would constitute a trollish post... I can't. Am I not looking in the correct place?

A Troll (5.00 / 1) (#9)

A troll is someone posting lies he does not believe in an effort to provoke inflamed discussion, discussion where rationality goes out of the window and the posters succumb to their dogma.

Adequacy.org may post controversial material, but we do so in an effort to provoke good discussion and also in a spirit of humour (some article are intended to be funny, and yet have a serious point at their heart, where others are totally serious).

We intend to challenge all dogmas and principles that people take to heart, yes, but we are totally opposed to trolling nonetheless.

You can consider this site to be a place where outrageous ideas are beta tested and established ideas attacked. The distinction between trolling and this is fine, perhaps, but I believe it is there.

I really don't know if I should salute you or pity you. That's quite a task you've volunteered for. I know I wouldn't want to touch it with dmg's dick.

I think somone is just looking for the female readers of this site to get under their skin...

Let me just state for the record: I am a girl (yes, I can prove that *grin*) I have orgasams, and I enjoy them. I still like to cuddle after sex, especialy after a particularly intense orgasam. Also, the female orgasam is discussed in the bible... have you ever read song of solomon? anyhow... so whoever says that it was "discovered" in the 18th Century is a dolt, or a Troll, and that is probably why they are hiding behind the Anonymous Reader mask.

just my opinion.
