 Environmental Doomsday Clock stutters?

I was browsing CNN.com when I ran across an article about the ozone layer. It would appear that at least one environmental action taken has produced some results.

In this article, CNN reports that satellite data demonstrates no change in the ozone hole over Antarctica for the past three years. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration believes that the ozone hole will continue to hold steady and not get any worse until the chemicals creating the problem diminish. At that time, they believe the ozone layer will begin to repair itself.

Just a brief news item I thought I'd like to share with people. I like hearing good news once in a while.

This would indeed be very good news (5.00 / 1) (#1)

If there were just one single shred of scientific evidence to support the idea that the hole in the ozone layer is anything other than a naturally occuring phenomenon.

Global warming is a completely debunked myth yet people still cry out that we must 'do our bit to protect the environment'. The sky is NOT falling in, regardless of what the professional chicken-littles in the left-wing dominated media will try and tell you.

Fortunately, the truth is out there for anyone prepared to look and think for themselves. Most readers of adequacy.org will fall into this category, being unwilling to accept the 'consensus' opinion, or the media manufactured propaganda.

My humblest apologies. (none / 0) (#3)

For some reason I seem to have totally ignored that article, and instead relied on the word of experts.

My most sincere condolences.
