Wondering why... (5.00 / 2) (#1)

you've taken leave of your senses today; could they instead be focused elsewhere?

Explain yourself, Mr. Johnson.

If I recollect correctly, this was your response to my explanation of why I encourage people to think for themselves and make choices which celebrate their individuality and recognize the options available to them at any given moment in life. (And if you still remembered to post this, I obviously didn't give you enough to think about instead -- scarlet diversionary tactics included -- damn!)

Fact: I am not a "scheme of equalizing the social conditions of life (specifically a scheme which contemplates the abolition of inequalities in the possession of property, as by distributing all wealth equally to all, or by holding all wealth in common for the equal use and advantage of all)". In the face of a nonsensical Perl conditional comparison equality statement, I can only assume that this means something to you which you've yet to explain. Truth is a very flexible value in Perl, is it not?

As an alternative, I would offer any of the following as being more accurate:

CHLOEDANCER==SUBVERSIVE
CHLOEDANCER==DISSIDENT
CHLOEDANCER==INDIVIDUALIST

Incidentially, the most symbolically correct answer to your poll (assuming that the equality statement is actually valid by any stretch of the imagination) is "Drop jars of French's mustard on her from a plane". This is because the origin of the world "communism" is the French communisme, from "common" in Old French, based on Latin's commnis. I would suggest that you not be dropping anything on me if you don't wish me to hurl it back at you with as much force as I can muster.

(If you only knew the names I'm calling you in my mind right now -- oh, your ears would be so radiantly pink, ma cher!)

So quit bugging me with your programmer's nonsense -- some of us have work to do, lest you forget this while you languish in training this week (slacker!).
