so it goes.
Incidentally, that Joyce person, as a bastion of liberalist "culture," really deserves to be slapped around a bit. Yes, yes, and yes. I know whereof I speak. © 2002, RobotSlave. You may not reproduce this material, in whole or in part, without written permission of the owner. |

If you mean James Joyce, the so-called "writer", then I heartily agree.
Get some taste, people, Joyce is horrific! His is a medical condition, graphomania. People like him need to get professional medical help. -- Peace and much love... |

I guess Nabokov was just blowing smoke, so to speak. New poll option: The Violent Bear Harry Potter Away. The best part is that it works quite well in either the original or modified forms. Nathan -- Li'l Sis: Yo, that's a real grey area. Even by my lax standards. |

Haven't had a reason to. From what I heard, there's nothing worthwhile there anyways, so I decided to save my time. Though maybe I'm just listening to wrong advice. -- Peace and much love... |

Nah, but there was some guy coughing in one of his books. |

What about 'American Potter' (5.00 / 1) (#4) | |

In which Harry 'Patrick' Potter uses his magical powers in a sickening display of murder and 80's style cocaine-fuelled greed ? |

"A Farewell to Harry" seems to be losing badly, with a staggering zero votes total so far.
That is very comforting, to me, at least -- Hemingway is the most overrated author of the century, if not the world. -- Peace and much love... |

Potter in the Rye. Summary: Harry Potter, young abused magician, discovers his powers and uses them to destroy his repressive family and their friends. Of course, that doesn't really do the book justic- its dialectic approach to the issues just cannot be dealt with here. I wholeheartedly encourage every Adequacy reader to pick this wonderful work up at least once. |

I would hardly call anything written by J.K. Rand "literature" in anything beyond the basest sense of the word. --- A seasoned witch could call you from the depths of your disgrace, and rearrange your liver to the solid mental grace |
