Even meetings where I have only good things to report fill me with anxiety.

If I had to guess I would say I have a mild case of social anxiety. That in combination with a tendency towards anti social behavior makes work hard. It's not the technical stuff it's the meetings. I wish I could communicate with people through a combination of IRC, weblogs, and emails. The only people I really like talking to face to face are the cute red headed reliability engineers.

You should ensure that you have lots and lots of bad news to report for each and every meeting. This will prevent you from ever suffering any pointless anxiety.
