Criticism of Israel is the same as anti-Semitism

Author: Topic: Posted:

Comments:
If you're dumb enough to listen to the loonie lefties talking about Israel, they'll have you believe that "criticism of the Israeli government is not the same as anti-semitism".

This is patent nonsense. The only motive for these "pro-Palestinians", as the several of the libero-communistic media (such as the New York Times and Time magazine, both long known as fronts for Communist groups in China and the Soviet Union) call them, is naked anti-Semitism.

We do not mean to suggest that Israel's slaughter of the Palestinians is not a fact. It is, of course, a reality that Israel is cleaning the West Bank, killing large numbers of Mohammadean terrorists and their sympathizers. But why do leftists become so agitated over this?

The Jewish-owned media outlets claim that around 1,700 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of the current Intefiduh. Given that most Mohammadeans live 10, 20, or 30 to a house, because their obsession with 5-time-daily prayer means they have no time for work, and so frequently stay with their families until the age of 25 and beyond, we can safely multiply this figure by five to arrive at a reasonable estimate of 8,500 Palestinians killed.

This certainly seems like enough to justify the outrage. But let's look at some other numbers:

 • The destruction of the Mohammadean terror in Afghanistan resulted in an estimated 3,767 deaths in the first two months. Since the bombing has continued for many months, the total tops 10,000. Have the leftists opposed this? No, in fact they've supported it!
 • The Mohammedan insurgency in the Hindu province of Jammu and Kashmir has killed over 35,000 peace-loving Hindus in the last years. Could the leftists even find Kashmir on a map?
 • The actions of the evil Arab, Saddam Hussain in Iraq continue to kill thousands every month, but leftists don't want America to end these deaths by raining righteous justice from the sky!
 • Tens of thousands of Turkish Kurds have been killed by the Turkish government, with not a peep from the Israel-haters.
 • Even tiny Nepal has seen more than 4,000 civillians murdered by Communist guerrillas in the last several years. But most of the Holy Land's critics couldn't find this country on a map, and those who can support it, as it rises the Communistic instincts present in every liberal's breast.

These are just some of the places where more civillians are being killed than in Palestine. But the Jew-haters are silent when the killers are Mohammedan, Communistic or Arab, choosing only to pipe up when they perceive some Jewish injustice. In doing so they follow in the footsteps of anti-semites of the past: the Nazis for instance raised anti-Jewish hatred by pointing out every bad deed of individual Jews, and extrapolating it to the whole Jewish race, while ignoring the equally bad behaviour of Germany's other inhabitants.

As in 1930s Germany, so it is now. The Jews, oppressed for 2000 years, have at last been allowed their holy land, only to be told by the Jew-haters and Communists that they will have to share it with Mohammadeans, whose religion requires them to kill the infidel.

And who can blame the Jews? After all, if after having your home stolen from you, you were finally given it back, would you be happy if you were told you to live with a bunch of terrorists, who take delight in firebombing your house, putting letterbombs through the door, and blowing up your car.

Would you stand back as your home, promised to you by God was ripped asunder? Would you permit yourself, day-after-day, to be attacked, to find your wife and children dead, too scared to leave the house. Just imagine it! In America home of freedom lovers, what would happen if, last September 11th, the President had said to our country: 'America, we are going to do nothing about this at all'. It would have been unthinkable.

Americans have a right to freedom that no-one would deny. When we were violated, we struck back against the violator, and no-one said we were wrong to do so. But Israel? Israel, faced with a similar threat - a terror designed at undermining the Israeli way of life, just at September 11th undermined the American way of life, are expected to sit back and watch as the buses explode and their families die! This unreasonable demand can only be borne out of anti-semitism, and should be ignored, because when people start to listen to anti-semites, the result is genocide, and we have seen it throughout history. Israel must be given the right to defend itself as it feels fit, and the anti-semites should be given no voice in the world's media.

GET OUT OF YOUR PLANES AND JUST SHOOT HIM, YOU FUCKING WUSSES

Collateral damage is unacceptable without risk. A 'war' that consists entirely of one side's collateral damage (e.g., the first and second Gulf Wars) is indiscriminate slaughter.

This is why I support a ground invasion of Iraq.

In order to save the Middle East from the Middle East, we must depose and replace all the Arab heads of state with fair-minded individuals committed to the liberal principles of autistic human rights, free trade and feminism. Fortunately, a surfeit of possible candidates lives next door in Israel. A few Iraqis may have to die to accomplish this goal, but they are precisely the same Iraqis who will eventually die anyway. In fact, if I ever die, I would not mind being one of them, in my moment of death.

Of course, this eminently corruptible (albeit sound) chain of reasoning can target any head of state, anywhere, anytime, which just goes to show whose colony presently rules the ecology of nation anthills.

I completely agree with everything in your article. It is disgusting how far Nazis will go to spread hatred against the Jews. I think the best way to show these Nazis the error of their ways is to give them an example of the pain the Jews must go through just to survive among the heartless Muslims surrounding them. Maybe once they udnerstand that the Jews can't reason with these animals, they'll shut up and fly right.

Using the term 'Nazi' to describe persons who probably have no connection to hitlers movement is the height of insult.

You suggest we should give these 'Nazis' "an example of pain". This only induces racial hatred which caused the problems in the middle east in the first place.

Anyway, I suspect you are only using the racist phrase 'Nazi' to cause offense to decent German people.

 • Not all of the Palestinians are Mohammadeans. Some of them are Muslims, some of them are Islamists, and some of them are Musilmans.
 • The Palestinian assault on all things Israeli and by extension on all Jews everywhere is not an intefiduh, it's an infantada, as in, watch me strap this bomb to an infantada.
 • Thirdly, there are no Kurds in Turkey, only terrorist Turkey-haters who want to end the Turkish character of the Turkish state. Would you deny that the Turkish people have the right to a state of their own? And yet, the socialist Muslim Kurdish terrorists want to impose a foreign language on all the Turkish infidels. Let the Turkish people have their homeland! Let the Turkish people speak their language!
Other than that, it looks good.

The term "anti-Semitism" was coined to mean anti-Jewish racism. Yes, other "Semitic" peoples do exist - so what? The term was not intended to refer to them. XIXth century European anti-Semites didn't care about the Maltese; they cared about their own countries with their mixed Jewish and Gentile populations. They started calling themselves "anti-Semites" to show their opposition to Jews and to what they saw as the Jewish way of life.

In other words, your dictionary worship is historically bankrupt. In conclusion please find someone else to correct incorrectly, you ass-pirate.

The Jews don't own the media. Being uneducated and afraid doesn't give you the right to talk down about a group of people. And no, I'm not Jewish.

Besides, no, they are NOT the same thing! Anti-semitism is against JEWS. Israel has ISRAELIS, many of which are not Jews. Criticism of Israel should be WELCOMED at this point. People in the US have been focusing WAY too much on the bad things Palestine has done. We act as if they're the only terrorists. Israel does the exact same things we criticize Palestine for, and yet we support them. TELL ME WHY. I think that Palestinians have a perfectly valid reason to hate us.

Criticism of Palestine is more welcome (none / 0) (#16)
by Anonymous Reader on Sat Aug 31st, 2002 at 08:33:38 PM PST
For two reasons. Number one is that they are employing terrorism, which is unacceptable. Their current method of "protest" is to slaughter civilians. The Israelis, for all their breaches of the Geneva Convention, are not terrorists, although they do include some war criminals.

Number two, and this is perhaps the most important reason, is that it was Arafat who blew the Oslo Peace Process, by continuing to foment anti-Israel tension in Palestine, and by refusing to cooperate with a sensible division of the Israel/Palestine region along the current green line, with international administration of Jerusalem. So with whom does the blame for the current unrest lie?

But criticism of Isreal should also be welcome (none / 0) (#27)
by Naive Fool on Sun Sep 1st, 2002 at 10:39:31 PM PST
First of all, I have yet to see a definition of terrorists that would exclude the Israeli government, or perhaps more accurately its military. The difference between "collateral damage" and civilian targets is psychologically negligable. If you pay close attention to Israeli rhetoric towards palestinians, it reads like a terrorist manifesto. "If our demands are not met we will kill your leaders" and so on.

Second of all, there is an important distinction that is not often observed in discusions of the palestinian/israeli conflict, which is that while Isreal is a fully functional modern state, with all the wealth, technology and infrastructure of any first world power, the Palestinian Authority is none of these things. Somehow the Palestinian Authority, which is for all its responsibilities essentially an organisation of activists, is expected to magically fulfill all the functions of a state. With neither the resources, the rights or the opportunities provided to a recognised state, it is expected to excersize a control over its members (not even citizens) which surpasses that which the American, Saudi or Italian governments excercize over their citizens. It is an odd situation, to say the ver least.

Why I am pro-Israel (none / 0) (#17)
by KingAzzy on Sat Aug 31st, 2002 at 08:38:52 PM PST
Now I'm an intelligent individual. I understand that reality is not black and white, its a matrix of an infinite shades of gray. Reality indeed is a subjective matter relative to the observer.

But when it comes to the Israel conflict.. well, I remain on the side of the Israelis.

Simply because no single brain cell in my brain can accept the moral justification of dilberately targeting innocent Israeli civillians, young and old, in the attempt to promote a political opinion.

Its as simple as that. There is definitite historical precedence demonstrating the power behind peaceful and, more importantly, morally sound public resistance towards significant social and geopolitical change.

If the Palestinians were just going after IDF forces I would have an entirely different position.

This world is too crowded nowadays to permit people who behave with this attitude to exist in it any longer. There are no distant lands which you can run off to and hide, disconnected from the rest of the world. Your problems evolving with the rest of us are no longer your problems alone. They are our problems now, thanks to 9/11.

On an ideological basis, I really am not too concerned whether or not Israel exists or not. On a pratical basis, it is a very important extension of Western power in a very important part of the world. The loss of Israel would mean a significant loss of the global power and influence of my homeland, the United States of America.

So these Palestinian Islamist racist hotheads are just going to continue their karmic destiny in sparking off World War III and the superheated final demise of the Age of Pisces.

I will be interested in your response to a diary entry I will be posting maybe tommorow. I want to challenge the common view above. I want to argue that in wrong situation anyone could become a terrorist.
This isn't in an attempt to justify terrorism but to stiffle the smugness of many people who wrongly believe that the higher morality they possess is attributed to some sort of superiority on their part and that they should be given some sort of medal for it.

It will have a lot to do with another of your statements:

There is a flaw in the reasoning here (none / 0) (#19)
by Anonymous Reader on Sun Sep 1st, 2002 at 01:06:41 AM PST
I have carefully read the article, "Criticism of Israel is the same as anti-Semitism", and I have identified a flaw in the author's reasoning.

You see, anti-semitism implies hate.

But are those struggling against Zionism and U.S. imperialism in the holy land motivated by hatred? let's examine the evidence.

God is pure love. We can say that merciful Allah loved the universe into being. A billion billion stars, warming the vacuum of space. In each star, unimaginable trillions of hydogren atoms, meld and boil in a dance of cosmic fusion, like microminiature atomic dervishes. Our Sun, one of these stars, was loved into existence by infitely just Allah, to give the energy that drives all life on Earth, that sustains Muslims, Christians, Jews, and even secular U.S. Imperialists. And for this gift, Allah asks only that we love him in return. Those who work to return true democracy (Islamic rule) to the Holy Land are motivated by Allah's love of humankind. The love that gave us the Sun, the Sun that blues our sky, that warms our skin, the Sun toward which the grasses and trees lift their tender chlorophyllic selves, in tribute to the greatness of the Creator.

Consider, then, a jihadi, on her way to give her life for Allah's cause, waiting patiently for a bus, or strolling to a crowded cafe, her explosive belt strapped snugly to her midsection like the the tearful final embraces from his parents she had received just that morning. In her mind, she recites prayes, holy words of God's greatness and the rightness of bringing Islamic rule to the Holy Land. Is there hatred here, in this beautiful young person, thinking only of God's divine salvation, willing to cut short her life in order to bring salvation to all the creatures of Earth, Jews, Muslims, Christians? No, of course there is not.

The jihadi are not trying to exterminate Jewish people from the Holy Land, only to establish rightul rule. Jewish people will know far more happiness and prosperity through righteous Islamic government than they will through the atheistic socialist (kibbutz) and secular U.S. Imperialist rule under which they currently languish. Therefore those who are truly concerned about the fate of the Jewish people must support the efforts of Hamas and others to do God's will and bring just rule to the Holy Land.
