Nuup goes on to misrepresent adequacy.org:

instead of just wanting to debate, stay opened minded, and possibly educate themselves, they want to impose their shared views upon the lives of others.

He then goes on to steal our IP by quoting vast chunks of copyrighted adequacy material without our permission, proving that if you scratch a liberalist, you will find a thief.

The question is what can be done about this ?

...You made me read something on Kuro5hin.

It amazes me how people like this take such pains to drone on about how they support free speech and the voicing of controversial opinions.

And of course, instead of posting some of the more inane things you will find on this site, he simply cites some opinions he with which he just happens to disagree. Oooh! These opinions can't possibly be for real because they don't fall in lockstep with my preconceived notions!

He may have a point with the overabundant "read the Bible you semiliterate liberalist" posts. I also tire of these. But oddly, that's not the main focus of his complaints.

What can be done about this? Continue to exist and discuss. Nothing could possibly irk him more.

What is the scientific approach and why should I trust it?

What does it mean for a theory to be confirmed by its predictions?

And what are these reasons, besides that it allows you to smugly claim that other people exist? It's not so clear to me, pilgrim.

Batten down the mizzenmast, mateys! The enemy trumpeted his warcry, prepare for incoming debate! Soon he'll be engaging us with full argumentation! Though we be becalmed today, tomorrow we shall certainly be tossed and capsized upon the winds of his mighty hurricane of logic unleashed! Will we weather the coming blast of reason? Or will our saucy ship of controversy be thrown onto the rocks of liberal orthodoxy?

What he doesn't realize is that what he calls 'debate' is uninteresting, worthless, and irrelevant. Indeed, his 'debate' has nothing to do with open-minded rational discourse. Instead, it is two (or more) close-minded intentionally ignorant braggarts whipping each other in their little liberalist la-la-land without pausing to think or even read. Instead of educating themselves, their dogmatism forces them to do point-by-point rebuttals and miss the main idea of the whole bloody article. What he's really saying is, "I can't defeat them in debate, even though my preferred form of idiocy is the best."

Of course, the adequate already know this, so I'm preaching to the preachers.

Cheers,
GZ

The mind of the liberal is literally shut off to logic and facts.

Read this page, it contains an extremely good introduction to the liberalist phenomenon.

He then goes on to steal our IP by quoting vast chunks of copyrighted adequacy material without our permission, proving that if you scratch a liberalist, you will find a thief.

Amazingly enough you all still hold onto this dream that one day Adequacy.org will one day be taken seriously as a news site. However, when similar sites or actual news sites quote information from Adequacy.org you condemn their actions. Ever think that (and the fact that this site is full of dribble infested writing by various "authors" such as Yoshi) is what's holding this site back?

Do you really think that CNN, BBC, or even AOL get all up in arms everytime another news organisation reports "according to a report from [insert news organisation here]"? Wonder why you'll never see sites such as TheRegister reporting a retraction statement or apologizing to the editors of Adequacy.org? Because it's not a news site. It's a discussion site and nothing more. You can claim that it is runs by some mega corporation and that you are all porfessionals that work together but no one buys it.

A few seconds out of your day to check the domain registration of Adequacy.org would probably surprise you. Not only is this site not registered to any organisation, the registrant Jay Elby (elby) doesn't even bother providing factual information. You can deny it all you want to but we all know that elby does not live in the Beverley Hills zip code of 90210. We also know that there is no one in that area with a telephone number of +1 234 yadda, yadda, yadda.

Damnit. I thought we had patched the IP-Token issue up! It seems those wiley Linux hackers must have some way to circumvent The Adequacy's DMCA-Protected Anti-IP-Stealing measures.

Perhaps the legal department should look into suing and writing C&D letters. In the meantime, I'd suggest enabling per-post IP Cloaking.

I'm not going to examine the idiocy of you believing there is such as thing as IP Tokens. However, I will mention this.

You seem to be having trouble figuring out the difference between the 2 uses for the acronym IP. Get back to me when you can figure out the difference between Internet Protocol (IP and Intellectual Property (IP).

I know perfectly well how to match up parentheses. Oh no, I forgot one. You chould really check the time of the post before you go off ranting and raving. Also I suggest that you take into account that it's PST. Now, I could search through all of your posts to try and find some late night ramblings but I won't. Frankly I would love to see how you post after spending most of the night wandering around town hanging out in bars drinking scotch/whiskey/piss water beer listening to drunk Japanese investors on stage trying to sing along to old Aerosmith tunes.

Oh well at least it better than the time ********* sent a bunch of wide eyed MCSEs to talk about network infrastructure. I could have had a more intelligent conversation with my dog.

You seem to have transferred your obsession with Micro-Soft to an obsession with me. Where before you thought that every evil in life was the fault of that soft-ware company, now you react to every perceived slight and injustice as if it were the fault of elenchos, me. This might seem like a step backwards to even worse delusions, but it is actually a normal and healthy stage of the theraputic process.

Our next step will be for you to realize that it isn't really me you have so much anger about, and it was never this Micro-Soft. It is your father who you have repressed your feelings about, and we are coming very close to the time when you will be able to admit that honestly.

This is a critical time. You might feel a loss of control, and certainly a lot of shame. Who wouldn't? But realize that all this pain is part of the healing process.

Now, let's talk about your childhood once more, shall we?
