Due to the overwhelming response I received to my last poem, I have decided to write a follow-up.

Constructive feedback is appreciated.

If brains were fridges,
I'd be a washing machine.

If couches were potatoes,
I'd be a stick of celery.

If monkeys were bananas,
I'd be an opposable thumb.

If the world was an oyster,
that'd be really dumb.

Interesting use of ab-cd-ef-gf verse scheme.

Perhaps this young lad could find a future career in Poetic Arts. I hear the demand for American poetry in Japan is growing by leaps on bounds.

My attempts at fusing poetry and anime have failed in Japan; and if I don't find work by tomorrow I will not be able to buy my mother her third house. Times are desperate. Do you have any immediate vacancies at your lucrative company?

I don't know why but I really like that poem. May I ask what inspired you to write it?

My inspirations are numerous.

Firstly, I'd like to thank my producer, who created the opportunity for me to share my talent with the world. Thank you.

Secondly, Mum, Dad, without you this would never have been possible, I think -- this one's for you.

Lastly I want to thank the fans. You are the guys who make this happen. You guys rock.

Just wondering was it your intent for it to come off describing you as a rebel? I wrote poetry too but I am too shy to share it.

Clearly, you have read me like a book, and seen my rebellious intentions. This intuitiveness is a rare quality and makes for great poetry.

Rejoice in the worldwide stage presented to you. Share your poems. Be free to be who you want to be. Fight the system. Don't take "no", "yes" or "maybe" for an answer.
