What a disturbing picture indeed. I didn't realise we had a 'shocktrooper' artist type here.

Now that my consciousness has been raised by this act of visual terrorism, I may have to return to some 'Thomas Kinkade: Painter of Light' limited edition prints in order to properly recover an appreciation for the good things in life, rather than the freakish perversities many artists are churning out these days, so they can get a dangerous reputation and picture shoots from Hello! magazine.

However, your art does seem very controversial. Perhaps we should commission a special adequacy series, designed to get raise the silly weblog reader type, asleep and complacent, into a new level of consciousness where he realises his own idiocy.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, whine incessantly.

When push comes to shovin,
I'd rather make some lovin.

Don't take it the wrong way tho - I <EMlike</EM> poltroon's stuff. It is interesting and original.

Perhaps she should release limited edition prints too.

From what I've seen, Tillmans's work appeals to me quite a bit. Look, here it's flipped.
