Why am I still here?
Why do I continue to read these intentionaly inflammatory arguements? |

The trolling is so thick here it's hard to move.
It makes me sad really, the people writing stories here are obviously perfectly intelligent. The way they manage to (just with style in tone) make something totally absurd seem only slightly irrational is terribly impressive. I just wish they focused their efforts on doing good for humanity as opposed to laughing their asses off at the responses that they can goad out of us their users. I'm an athiest, but I happen to know and get a long with quite a number of Christians many of which are even ministers or in training to become such, including my father. Most of the Christians I know would be insulted and infuriated by the things people are arguing on the basis of their faith here. Christianity is supposed to be about forgiveness and loving thy neighbor as thyself. Judge not lest be judged and all that stuff. Yet, I've seen numerous posts and stories that use Christianity as a sprining board for nothing short of hate-mongering. A good Christian does not judge or damn. A good Christian does everything in their power to ease the suffering of others. A good Christian doesn't follow the evangelical method of recruitment, but rather tries to lead by example. It doesn't seem to me like their is a good Christian on this site. At least not one that posts.
