The real artists plaugh.

So... I was talking to someone online the other day who had apparently just sold a book and couple of days later I talked to one of her friends who had also got her book sold. Being as I just recently completed a novella I took an interest thinking they could help me out. In further talking with them I came to the shattering realization that they had to pay 50.000 dollars to get there work published. WHAT THE FUCK????? Isen't that kind of like paying the hottest girl in school to date you then claming you have the hottest date in town? In further reaserch I found that the writing business is not the only place doing this. The music industry is as well. I just recently found out the radio stations are now charging BIG bucks to play your song on there station and of course you have to pay bigtime to even get a cd put out. THIS IS RAPEING OF ART! You are NOT a real artist if you have to PAY to get your shit out. Its nothing more then a rip off business for MONEY not art. This is why we have so many shitty artists (if you want to call them that) and you hear the same shit on the radio and MTV. Because they are the few RICH jackoffs that managed to have the money to pay to get there shit played... mean while the real artists go unheard and noticed. They don't give a rats ass if you are good or not as long as they get there pay. IF YOU HAVE TO FORK OVER 50.000 DOLLARS TO GET YOUR WORK OUT! YOU AREN'T ANY KIND OF ARTIST! And you problably suck in fact. Its NOTHING to brag about. You are just a victim of the industry that is leaving real artists unheard while rich cocksuckers get heard and run around in there new BMW's thinking they are real. The ONLY hope for real artists is Going INDEPENDENT and starting a website and selling your own shit. MAYBE if more people do this.. people will key into and it will break the money hungry industry that is sucking the soul out of art.

Perhaps there should be some sort of 'book tax', where you pay large, seperate fees to Random House, Penguin and HarpicCollins for the privilege of not using any of their services to get people to read your drivel. 	Following your theory, an artist, real or false, is always a victim of the industry, the real being left unheard, the false banking a lot of money to be heard. Let's go further: if a real artist wants to get his work out, he must do as the false artist, and fork 50 000 dollars. So, cost of production is not a good criterium to judge Art: the shit and the best may have the same.
