A while back, loyal Adequacy readers were inundated with an interesting article briefly detailing the comment rating system. While this was more than adequate job, I was wondering if similar information could be revealed regarding the Adequacy story submission and approval process.

For last week I spent some time going through the user submission queue, and amidst the usual liberalist garbage I found several gems submitted submitted by you! So, once those stories have undergone the rigorous fact checking and editorial review that adequacy if famous for, they will be on the front page, probably next week.

as the AQ editors have not approved your most recent works, can you enlighten the general AQ populace as to which newsgroups you have posted them to instead?

Thanks

I've only ever had one story published on this site. I have submitted about four. To be honest I gave up submitting them about four months back. I was reliably informed that they had no chance of being posted..plus there is a huge advantage to posting them as diaries.

Firstly, I know they will be accepted and will not be deleted unless I've put something too stupid.
Secondly, diaries get posted instantly. If you do it at the right time you get much more contraversy :P
Thirdly, sometimes comments get more notice than stories.
